On Wednesday, May 11, 2022 was the Opening Night for the inaugural Shop It Forward fundraiser by The Cause Connection. Located on the west end of Melrose Avenue, this five day pop-up celebrated fashion and philanthropy. The shop spotlighted a curated selection of talented designers and brands including clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty, and more. Opening Night featured a fusion of installations, photo ops, music and a silent auction.
PRESENT NOW was chosen by The Cause Connection as one of the charity beneficiaries Shop It Forward. We are deeply grateful for the grant we received from The Cause Connection in the amount of $14,160 plus beautiful outfits for our sheltered children!
According to PRESENT NOW’s Executive Director, Lilian Miller, “The Cause Connection is an incredible fundraising ally for small and growing nonprofits! PRESENT NOW received a meaningful grant that will enable us to support 50 children living at a domestic violence shelter for an entire year with three presents on their birthday, valentine’s day and back to school.”
