The Gala serves as our signature community event. The “Healing Hearts” theme serves as a platform to draw attention to the positive impact our Presents Program provides by creating normative and healing experiences for children and youth who are overcoming trauma, and survivors of domestic abuse.

3rd Annual Give Love & Be Loved Gala
April 21, 2023 – PRESENT NOW’s 3rd Annual Give Love & Be Loved Gala was a memorable and impactful evening, where we celebrated & connected with YOU! Over 175 guests enjoyed a fabulous Silent Auction & Cocktail Reception with entertainment provided by DJ Bianca Oblivion and mentalists and magicians, Ben Nemser & Cassandra Ruiz, followed by a Formal Dinner, and a moving Live Program honoring Carol Williams of Interval House, Arturo Diaz, LCSW, and Volunteer of the year, Jackson Walter. The event was hosted by TV personalities and social influencers Mikalah Gordon & AJ Gibson.
2nd Annual Give Love & Be Loved Benefit
April 22, 2022 – The 2nd Annual Give Love & Be Loved Benefit marked the return of in-person events in Los Angeles! Over 150 guests came together to celebrate PRESENT NOW’s 10 year anniversary!! Attendees enjoyed a beautiful evening at Playa Studios in Culver City, hosted once again by Lawrence Zarian and Lisa Breckenridge. We celebrated author and survivor Leslie Morgan Steiner, Executive Director of Alexandria House Michelle Tonn, and Volunteers of the Year Dani Mellon and Maddie Milken.
1st Annual Give Love & Be Loved Benefit

The Annual Benefit kicked off flawlessly as a LIVE broadcast event. Our co-hosts Lisa Breckenridge and Lawrence Zarian, welcomed guests from all over the country. Greg Fleishman and Karen Earl were celebrated, and Atlantic artist MILCK performed an outstanding concert for us. In addition, we had special guests Cody Simpson and Halle Berry appear.
Volunteer Day 2020

At our largest volunteer event to date, over 75 volunteers came to Redcar in Santa Monica to stuff and wrap 764 Presence of Love Boxes for children in domestic abuse shelters. Thanks to these wonderful volunteers, many children received a Presence of Love Box and felt loved on Valentine’s Day. The tablets they received could not have been better timed for the transition to remote learning that happened shortly after.
The Women’s Weekend
January 6, 2020
Seventy-five women joined us for the 6th annual Women’s Weekend getaway at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara in lovely Santa Barbara. For the weekend, we had a morning meditation, a signature trunk show event, and an evening reception featuring guest speaker Angela Parker and our honorees, Ariana Kukors-Smith and MILCK. The event ended with The Class by Taryn Toomey.
