The Gala serves as our signature community event and takes place in February to shine a light on the alarming increase in domestic violence rates during the seemingly celebratory occasions of Valentine's Day and Super Bowl weekend. The "Healing Hearts" theme serves as a platform to draw attention to the positive impact our Presents Program provides by creating normative and healing experiences for children and youth who are overcoming trauma, and survivors of domestic abuse.
